Mary was not only present in coins and medals, but she was also seen in windows. Patrons of art had become characters in biblical scenes for centuries, but Mary was the only Tudor to appear in foreign churches.
Despite Mary only appearing in four known contemporary windows, she reemerged in the 19th and 20th centuries.
